I'm a Lazio and Napoli fan after all. But Between Messi and Milito, Argentina have more than they need to unman Germany and stroll to the final.
Argentina is going to get Germany in the quarters, presumably Spain (or Portugal) in the semis, then one would assume Brazil in the final. That's three difficult games in a row.
If Spain chokes, like they always do, and Portugal gets to the semis, Argentina will destroy them. Portugal is even more overrated than Spain. They've never done ANYTHING in either the Euro or the Worlds. Might as well be playing Canada.
As for Brazil, it's a different thing for the Argentines. They play all the time, there's no intimidation factor like there is for European teams. I think they can make it all the way relatively easily.
Deutschland über England.

I am pleased that the goal differential was more than that one goal. It should have been 4-2.

Well . . . you are of Irish extraction. It is just for you to be happy that England lost.

That's my big concern, that Blatter the tosser gets off with this one.

Argentina just has too much power. Milito was absurd this year at Inter.

My thoughts exactly. Germany is officially never allowed to moan about "Das Wembley-Tor" again. *NM*

I'm fine with a bit of overconfidence, but playing without a defence was probably a bit too much. *NM*

If you've memorised the lower-case code, just subtract 32 for the upper-case code.
