I understand that homosexuality in men is also linked genetically to higher fertility in women Legolas Send a noteboard - 29/06/2010 01:06:09 PM

I'd like to see both of those studied a great deal more, because neither phenomenon makes much sense to me. "This person has no interest in sexual activity that will result in offspring; it will be beneficial for them to be unusually well suited for giving and receiving pleasure through such acts!" Because why...?

That is, the sisters of gay men (and their daughters, if they have them) are more fertile than average, which would explain why homosexuality isn't as self-defeating genetically as you'd think. Or so I read somewhere, anyway. And if that is the case, I suppose it makes sense that the gay men themselves are also more "fertile" than average...
