I don't like the Fourth. Going to see a fireworks display is one thing, but when your crazy redneck neighbors set explosives off all week (beginning at eight in the morning) and don't even create pretty lights with them - well, it's stupid. Also, my puppy has never been more petrified.
Here fireworks in the summer would mostly be a waste of money as it never gets properly dark.

I'd probably want to visit at least once before moving. I did decide on an apartment without seeing it myself when going to uni, though.

Since Jonte already said strawberries, I'll say new potatoes, that you just have to brush off the soil and not peel. They go very well with a little butter.

I haven't driven more than may 4 hours in a day myself, but the longest I've been in a car for a day is something like 10-12 hours.

No regularly like that, no. I do reread quite a few books, but that's more a spur-of-the-moment thing.
Other news with me - am planning to set out for my new home in WA, bright and early Tuesday morning. It will be a long drive, and I don't entirely know where I'll end up. I hope it will be nice.
