I don't have any in my apartment, as I think cats should be able to go outside. My parents have 2 cats, mother and son (Rosalinda and Nisse, respectively), who are very cute. She's part angora, part norwegian forest cat, part ordinary farmer cat (at least that's what we say here), and has the long hair and tufts from the fancy ancestry. The only way one can tell that the two of them are related is the grey and white colours, though, he didn't inherit any such fancy stuff.

Nisse is a bit stupid, for one thing he can't chew properly but just swallow stuff. To avoid the food showing up on the carpet five minutes later one has to give him soaked dry food, and crush it in his bowl.

Rosalinda used to be quite shy when we got her (she was almost 2), but is more companionable since she had kittens. She still doesn't like strangers very much, though.
