and he was a bit wussy about giving van bommel the red card he deserved early on too. It is a bit of a failure from webb, tbh, he should have been more decisive early on, he didn't pull up the yellow until after 5 or so attacks which deserved it.

also, heitinga's sending off was a bit harsh, considering how iniesta dived.


That said, I think it's clear that Holland's main approach was to disrupt the flow of the match as much as possible, which they mostly succeeded at.

Frankly, Webb had major issues just reffing in the Premiership this season, he shouldn't really have been given the job tonight.
