Is that only black Christians, or is it a general community attitude?

There is a very big difference between Black African Americans, and black people from the African Continent. In the US I would consider both influence their attitude towards gay marriage.

In the African Continent it is more of a relic from Colonialism, laws against sodomy were "imported" when European powers (especially the UK) ruled this area. Furthermore now that Europe has left somehow (I can't explain it) several African countries are even more anti gay than before. These African countries blame homosexuality on the western countries a taint left over from colonialism and see their job of removing homosexuality from society.
