My last name is White and if I ever have a daughter, I fully intend for at least one of her names to be Snow. Either first name or the name just before the last name.
What do you think? Pretentious? Cute? Asking for a superiority complex?
What I think is the same as what I think with all those special names or specifically designed first name-last name combos: what possible goal can you have in doing it that even remotely outweighs the inconvenience - possibly worse, possibly not - to your daughter?
EDIT: I should point out that I have wanted to do this for about 10 years now.
Maybe by the time you ever get a daughter you'll have gotten over it.
After Joel's post about names below, I have a question...a serious one.

Snow for the middle name.

You'd have to make it a double-barrelled first name, otherwise it'd just be "Yellow White".

Sorry to be a spoilsport, but playing silly buggers with your children's lives is just not cool. *NM*

On a more embarassing note, I love the name Virginia, that would be worse than snow by a mile ...

Awesome! Have fun explaining the meaning of "snowballing" to a ten-year-old girl.

If you have a son, name him Major Major and change his last name to Major.

Everyone is being too nice. It's a stupid idea. And it's selfish. Leave "cute" names for your dog. *NM*

Don't. Have it as her nickname, but not her real name. It's charming but also charmingly silly. *NM*

I don't think this is a terribly good idea, for many of the reasons posted - but I have a suggestion
