As far as android phones go, it's going to be hard to beat that. I'd look very seriously at the skin that Samsung has put over it and possibly compare it to an HTC Desire. The internals are pretty similar, but the Desire uses a different skin. Some people like the iPhone feel that Samsung put in place, others prefer the skin HTC has.

One thing I will say is that Samsung is fairly new to the Android game, and they have a long history of poor support for their mobile devices. The OS updates are going to come slower from Samsung, and possibly not at all, than they would from a Motorola or HTC phone.

Unless you're a phone geek though, that probably won't matter much. I'd seriously compare the phone to the Desire though, and see which one you prefer, because on a hardware level you won't really see any difference in performance. While they both run Android, they approach it in very different ways.
