I *adore* my HTC Desire though. It is so good. Sure it drains its battery faster than you can say 'recharge' but all modern smartphones do that.

The interface is smooth and easy, setup is a dream, just put in usernames and passwords for email, facebook, twitter and such and it just *works*. Apps are easy to install and delete. I hadn't had a touchscreen phone before and was a little worried about text input, but it's great - very sensitive and accurate. Unlike on my previous phone (Samsung i8510 - 2 years old, one of the very early smartphones) the accellerometer actually works and goes to landscape mode if you tilt the screen.
