I object to the practice. Major social change should not be enacted by the will of the court. It seems like a safe practice when they are doing things you like but it sets a precedent and under cuts your arguments when they start doing things you don’t like. The court’s power needs to be limited.
i mean, seriously. the civil rights movement that began with the blacks and continues through the gay marriage issue and beyond is going to always be determined by the courts. if you don't think certain people have the same rights as everyone else then that's your opinion but don't blame the court system for upholding the law as they interpret it.
