I don't think it's whining - I think a lot of the messages are really worthless and make me lose respect for the person who is typing them.

And a girl I was thinking of dating got into an argument with a couple of friends of mines on my wall. First of all, that wasn't the type of thing I want other people doing on my wall. Second of all, if the girl was smart, she would have noticed that one of the friends she was cursing out was in my 'Top Friends' list and I had pictures from her wedding. I lost so much respect for her that I put her on limited profile, wrote her an e-mail asking her to apologize (I wanted to give her a chance to reclaim her dignity) and erased the whole conversation. After she gave a grudging, one-word "apology", I didn't even want to deal with her anymore, and removed her as a friend. Her FaceBook behavior made me dislike her in real life.
