1) Buy my (not horribly expensive) dream home in Wildwood park

2) Get a nicer car. Pay off the current one and drive it in the winter months.

3) Invest the rest of the money for the time being

4) Move my mom nearby (if she would come) so I could look after her better.

Those are the things I would do first. That covers up to maybe two million bucks.

Now, if I won more (or lots more) then the list gets bigger:

5) Buy one of the in production ME-262s and get some flying lessons so I could use it.

6) Try and contact my old acquaintance Sinbad (yes, that's really his name) and see if he still builds tall ships. If so, get him to build me a 110' brig set up for solo sailing. If not, get him to put me on to someone who could and would.

7) Take said brig and sail east. See everything I want to see and keep sailing east until I got back where I started. Probably bring some friends.

After that - well I'd see. I might start a publishing company and write and/or edit. Or just keep my existing job. I like having things to do.

I expect I'd buy some toys et al, but in comparison to a large lottery winning those would be nothing more than drops in the bucket.
May God stand between you and harm in all the empty places you must walk.
