Why do things die? *shrugs* Same reason people do, I guess, 'cos time passes and we lost immortality when we found sin: Gilgamesh, Job, Hymn of the Aten, down to Gone with the Wind or Casablanca, that's what it's all about in the end, so, I dunno, go write a book or something. Or find the people you care about and hang on quite literally for dear life. A little selfish, maybe, but the older they get the more they'll appreciate it.

Beyond that, see my reply to Ben; the unique things about wotmania and its community, Chat and otherwise, can't be replaced, yet some of them still flourish elsewhere. If people don't think it's worth five minutes to download and install Skype (and it really is ridiculously simple; I did it) how can they say it's worth all the time and trouble it would take Ben to code and then implement to RAFO? If it's important, quit bitching and do something, but either way, quit bitching.
