I was at work at the hotel front desk. I didn't normaly work the morning shift, but my manager had a meeting. Someone came out of the lounge and asked if I had the remote to the t.v. They wanted to turn up the volume. I walked in just in time to see the second plane hit. I rember it was the first day of the State fair, and all the rooms were booked or on reservation. The switchboard went nuts because everyone started canceling reservations. They were all afraid to travel.
