By definition, that's the information you want to make public to the world, and is every bit the same as posting pictures of your vacation on your office door. I think employers have every right to content you make publicly available, and have no problem at all with the idea. Of course, I've heard of employers who require that employees friend them or whatever, and I vehemently disagree with that.
