Yeah, I don't need it as much because I'm Computer Science. That's definitely true. The only reason people in the humanities need libraries, though, is because the teachers say they need libraries. Don't think for a minute, though, that 99% of the humanities students out there don't write their papers straight from Wikipedia.


Well, that's incorrect for quite a few reasons. Any humanity student at my school who tried to write a paper straight from Wikipedia would fail miserably, simply because encyclopedias don't provide the depth of information required to write anything approaching a real paper.

I also think you overestimate the ability to digitize books.
