But the other side of it is that if you are putting something on the internet then you need to have the basic common sense to realise you aren't just sharing it with friends but putting it up there for everyone to see on what is a semi-permanent public record and have to be responsible for other people seeing it.
There should be sense by employers as well though - someone legally having a drink is none of their business and should have no impact on the employee. The other side is that someone working for a charity that helps disabled people should probably be getting in trouble if they are cracking disabled jokes and making it clear where they work.
