Could anyone please explain the reasoning behind banning body piercings? Tashmere Send a noteboard - 18/09/2010 12:00:00 AM
I am having a hard time figuring out a logical reason for this rule? Does it really matter? What am I missing?

I can get behind a rule that I agree with the reasoning for. I can tolerate a rule that I can at least understand a reason for but I have a hard time with rules against doing things that don't effect anyone other than the person doing them.

A nose piercing may be distracting for five or ten minutes tops. After than you would get used to it and not think anything more about it. How are pierced ears any different than other piercings?
