I do not understand you silly people disliking cucumber...it tastes like green and water. It's a light, subtle, refreshing flavor great for ANY hot weather, and it's amazing in drinks.

I've read somewhere - whether it's actually true or a myth, I'll leave up to biologists - that a cucumber consists for 98% of water, which is a higher percentage than an ocean (what with the salt and all). And it shows in the taste. :P It's difficult to have an active dislike for cucumbers, of course, because of the slight taste, but otoh there's not much to enjoy, either.
