See, I read that book. And I liked that bird. But I have always thouhght of the seagulls that I meet as of the non-enlightened kind. You know, the ones that pick on Jonathan Livingston Seagull.

I always notice the ones that are standing around, looking profound.


Ah, I take that look to be "we'll kill you all, just you wait", not "I am enlightened". Maybe you are right.

Herons are truly cool birds.

And that while if you approach them too much, they'll take out one of your eyes.

Down the street where I live, they have a habit of sitting on cars in a row. Across the street from a restaurant called Heron.
