I still agree with myself that there should be a mandatory child-care class, so yes, I believe she does need education. I do also believe she needs more than ten days to feel fear for herself, so that she'll realize that she can't make such a stupid decision and get away with a slap on the wrist. Not when another life is involved.

And children are NOT better off when taken away from their parents, even from abusive homes.

And I cannot agree fully. There are certainly exceptions, and I've met some of them.
