this is just horrible

I do think there is something wrong with the parents of that child and am saddened to hear that the kid will go right back to them. The kid's parents need to work out their issues first, IMO. Surely someone else in their family could look after the kid for a while..?

EDIT: the kid is probably terrified of his parents now anyway.
