The whole game reminded me of SB XLI, except this time the Bears played themselves. And still lost. Still, the Giants offense was OK, if not stellar, in the second half, and both Ds played well, it's just that, once again, the Bears D had no help and was on the field too long too often. The question is did the Giants offense look mediocre because they're that bad or because the Bears D is that good. Personally, I think it was a combination, but that Giants offense played better than it had to that point, and I can't recall any really catastrophic errors. The worst was the turnover when driving for another TD, but their D bottled the Bears up and made them punt, and as soon as they got the ball back Jacobs redeemed himself, so, no biggy.
