I haven't watched that show yet. Maybe I'll have to check it out, since I love pretty much all food-related TV.

He's so very snarky, but you can tell that he genuinely appreciates real people. I think he had a little trouble with the bushmen food:P, but most of it is fun.

Are you going to watch the new Iron Chef series?

I want to, but I'll be leaving in the middle of it, I think.

Being a vegetarian for about half of my life really limits my experiences here (the best answers are going to be things like "yak testicles" ). However, I did try crocodile once, and there was also the mold that I accidentally ate at that Ethiopian restaurant in London... *grin*

Even w/o the mold on the pita, that jello bread we had there too was really odd.:P I'm so glad I had potatoes.

I think I would want simple, delicious foods that remind me of my best memories in life. Something like this:

First course: Nossy's pumpkin soup

I'm getting ready to make that again. ^-^

Second course: a salad with all the fixings and beer-broiled salmon

and red onion, pears, blue cheese. Yum.

Third course: oven-baked mac and cheese with delicious specialty cheeses

In a bread bowl!

Fifth course: cheesecake and more fresh strawberries

Yum. And pumpkin cheesecake is back out now.
