Nothing succeeds like success, they say, but I've long felt that over here nothing exceeds like excess. Sometimes it's a good thing; you don't want to half ass D-Day (which may have been what Ike was thinking of when he coined that "success" phrase. ) It can be a real problem, however, if you lose all sense of perspective and priorities.
