Tell him politely that you didn't feel any connection, didn't like any of the same things, and, if you're feeling really brave, tell him that the making out was just totally not cool based on the chemistry of the date. I mean, if things seem to be going well, sure, kiss away, but if he's so socially inept that he couldn't tell how badly it was going yet he tried to "grab the goods" so to speak anyway, then it's just not going to get any better with more dates.
