Brothers often have well established pecking order all ready and in a culture where obedience to an older sibling is expected it would come even easier. Also with brothers there is a kinship regardless of which one is actually the father. Most men feel some level of responsibility towards their brother's children. That is why me niece is living with me while she finishes her degree:P.

Personally I would never date a girl who had slept with one of my brothers but that is just me and the fact that my brother's will sleep with anyone willing.
