Jason Denzel here. I just had this thread pointed out to me today. And it was brought to my attention for the first time that the wotmania domain was pointed at my film production site. If it means anything to you, I had no idea that was the case. The wotmania.com domain points to my IP address. And if there's nothing setup for the domain, it defaults to my Argonaut Media website. So that's why you saw that.

It means a lot that you came here and let us know what was going on. Thanks! :)

More generally, I really hope you don't harbor any hostility toward me, Mike, DM, or any other parts of the WoT community. I was as sad as anybody else to see wotmania close down, and I think it's awesome that you guys have kept the spirit of that site alive. It will always be Mike's decision on what to do with the domain. I'm simply fulfilling his request.

I can't speak for others, but I hope I do: I certainly harbour no ill feelings towards yourself, DM or Mike (Being a web-master is a big responsibility!). I think what struck a raw nerve in some of us was the idea that the old domain name, which many of us had grown to love over long years with friends, was somehow being turned inside out and misused.

I really do think there is potential for the fansites to live on past the end of the series, especially with a story as strong as WoT. If DragonMount has a community as strong as Wotmania did, then I have no doubt that it will survive!
