Yes. I hope that the short term worsening will in fact lead to a long term benefit, though. More obvious brutality leads to more opposition. We'll see.


I do worry with things like this though that they can go either way and it could slow things down.

From what I've read, many people in China either truly haven't heard of Liu or do not want to talk about him. The media certainly isn't giving the story much coverage.
