I mean, he's now struck out 10 plus in each of this years post season starts, which is a record. He completely shut down arguably the best team in baseball last night. If thats not top dollar stuff, I don't know what is. The only one who has been more impressive post season combined with regular season is Halladay and he just got rocked the other night.
I honestly didn't think Texas had the pitching to win, but as long as the starters leave it out of the bullpens hands (with the exception being Feliz) they're set. It has been simply beautiful seeing the Yankees beat up like this.
He is amazing in the playoffs. It was amazing to be able to go watch him during his brief stint here in Seattle, but he was absolutely wasted here. I have a lot of joy watching him own Yankees. They have to win it in six if they are going to win it, they won't be able to get to Lee in game 7.
Looks like Cliff Lee is going to be making top dollar come next year.
