It's not the same at all. Dragonsoul Send a noteboard - 20/10/2010 04:22:43 PM
I think its pretty arrogant and frankly weird for Dragonsoul to tell me Jesus died on the cross for my sins when he knows im muslim. It not like I insulted Jesus in any way, i love the man (as a prophet) as much as the next person.

Because being a Christian, the whole POINT of Christianity is that Christ died on the cross for the sins of mankind. Without that, there IS no Christianity. So while you go on to say

im never going to tell you your religion is wrong or your beliefs are inferior to mine

That is exactly what you are doing by saying Christ never died on the cross.

I wasnt talking to you specifically, if you didnt like what i said you could have replied directly to the thread and stated what you believe about the Messiah. thats like you stating in a thread about how many gods you believe in and you say 1 and some Hindu replies to you, no, there are thousands of god and Krishna is one of them. Period.

Whereas you're speaking there in abstract about Hindu polytheism, Jesus Christ is the central figure in Christianity. His death on the cross is the entire point of that religion.

It really doesn't matter that you weren't addressing me specifically, your subject line already violated the whole

im never going to tell you your religion is wrong or your beliefs are inferior to mine

because that is what you are doing intrinsically when you make the public statement that Christ was never killed on the cross.
