If you have good marks you should be OK. What school are you looking at? I know some people who transferred to my school, Michigan, who probably wouldn't have gotten in on the first try.
The goal of admissions officers is to admit people who they think would succeed. High school is the primary method of discerning this, but a year of college marks is a better indicator IMO.
