Proclaiming one's secret love tends to work better in movies.
My girlfriend is, IMO, out of my league. So, I'm kind of conscious about these issues. I had, embarrassingly, 2 or 3 girls I know get angry over me going out with her. People have to learn to get over what they want when they're not the one someone's chosen. I've had to do it in the past, myself.
