Kayak.com Aemon Send a noteboard - 07/11/2010 03:55:28 PM
Because:

1) It searches airline sites directly, and simply links you to the appropriate flight on that airline's webpage. You don't actually book your flight on Kayak, and that means means you never have to worry about booking fees.

2) It will automatically search all of the other big booking sites (expedia, travelocity, etc) if you want it to, and open those results in new windows, so you can compare. I never bother with that, but it's there if you want it.

3) Kayak's interface is very simple and powerful, and not nearly as ad-laden as most of its competitors. It's just much nicer to use.

Anyway, yes: Kayak.com would be my pick. If you live in an area served by Southwest airlines though, be sure to check out southwest.com as well. Southwest is a good, cheap airline, and they don't let any other companies search their flights, you have to get them directly from THEIR webpage.

Hope that helped.

I generally go with Expedia, that's always worked okay for me. *NM* - 07/11/2010 03:43:32 PM 195 Views
