I'd only emulate that if it made geographic sence, (like, if there was a ravine to cross between the street and the front door.) The perfect house for me though would be gothic maybe, I have all sorts of ideas honestly. Hopefully one day I'll have enough money to see one through.

One idea would be a brick house, with a patio on the second floor, except hte patio would be made to look like an abandoned, burnt out building. (Like, having am incomplete wall with a clear window frame, but open to the sky above, that'd be so cool.) Anyway ...
