Logical, but there was a definite time crunch, which affected both teams. Joel Send a noteboard - 29/11/2010 03:33:52 PM
I assume they don't practice more than 3 hours straight, which means the stadium can fit in at least 3 training sessions per day without issue. For example one team would practice 10am-1pm, the other 2-5pm and the first one again 6-9pm, switched around the next day.

And I'm not sure what home vs away team does in the context of closed practice session or not?

They both had about two thirds as much time as they normally would to practice, and I honestly don't know what effect, if any, that had on procedure. That and the availability of alternate fields (visiting teams often get permission and use nearby college fields to practice) are what makes the "away" team issue relevant: In this case the "home" team had to spend about three times longer in the air than any visiting team that week (except Denver, obviously).

Hopefully this will finally get McDaniels fired from the Broncos - 27/11/2010 06:45:12 PM 977 Views

The LEAGUE said no one could tape it, and virtually shouted it at the Cheatriots after Spygate. - 28/11/2010 12:05:00 AM 606 Views
So they were allowed to watch but not tape? - 28/11/2010 12:37:59 AM 606 Views
Well, I suppose they could spend all their time watching the '9ers practice if the skipped their own - 28/11/2010 01:00:38 AM 611 Views
Or just send an extra guy there - 28/11/2010 01:07:02 AM 607 Views
Probably would still be illegal, but I'm not sure it could be done so easily. - 28/11/2010 02:22:52 AM 786 Views
Then why not practice behind closed doors? - 28/11/2010 07:56:36 AM 672 Views
Normally they do, at least part of the time, but there were extenuating circumstances. - 28/11/2010 12:13:23 PM 586 Views
My point is that all they'd have to do is tell the people running Wembley - 29/11/2010 11:18:06 AM 574 Views
Closed practices are fairly common, but I'm not sure how it works when BOTH teams are "visitors". - 29/11/2010 12:51:33 PM 625 Views
I presume they staggered the practices - 29/11/2010 03:29:29 PM 539 Views
