Yes.
At some point, when I got annoyed with him like you did, I would have asked him why he asked that question, since no one charges for fries by weight. I've noticed that people don't like their motivations questioned, especially when their actions are illogical.

Since this is apparently a common trait of his, I would've told him he's an ass, to fuck off and go away.
Yeah... that doesn't work so well.
He's not *entirely* stable and he is like 6'3 and about 300lbs and I am not.
