I remember asking at a gathering if you had ever made anything explode in the lab, Floffe.... :thumbsup:

Not blow up per se, but we did have one of the lids for a container we ran in the microwave come off rather rapidly (as in fly up and hit the ceiling) as we opened it.

Plus every now and then we used to get fires in one of the mills used for preparing samples. I say 'used to' only because I no longer work there ;)
