Dammit, people, the man repented! "... [A]nd it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge." And yet we continue to call anyone who hates Christmas a "Scrooge," and utter "Bah, humbug!" at the drop of a hat!

Don't get me started on the poor Grinch, either. Some people have no bloody forgiveness in their hearts.

I'm with you on the rest though. Repentance and redemption are rather integral to Christianity, after all.
