A Cathay Pacific flight has spent 12 hours on the runway at JFK without getting a gate, and an Aeromexico flight spent 7 hours there. The delays at the airports in the New York area are horrendous.


I'm flying to Atlanta, then to Amsterdam, and then to Edinburgh. I was originally meant to fly home yesterday through Boston, but that got cancelled and I got rebooked for today.
