It is climatologist. The biggest diffidence being meteorology is proven science and climatology is more faith based.

Science is faith based, in the general sense of the term; ultimately, every philosophy is, because all of them must build every other proven principle on a foundation of at least one axiom, and an axiom, by definition, neither is proven nor can be.
