Marinated in honey/soy sauce and spices or ...

Marinated in Honey, ginger, lime, and spices?

I'm planning a meal for one of these upcoming nights, can't decide. Basically I want to do honey roasted chicken drumsticks or breasts.

The first recipe would probably use such spices as cumin, paprika, red paper flakes.

The second ... I'm feeling star anise (whole), tumeric, coriander? cilantro? ... hmm.

I'm pretty sure I know what the first would taste like (and I would like it). I'm not so certain of the second. It just sounds really good though.
