Well, maybe not, I tend to think of using a stand mixer of just a handheld or even spoon/whisk as something you get if you make pancakes, waffles, or cookies every day. I don't, other than the bread, and the machine mixes everything while kneading anyway.

And I have been wanting to make some homemade bread with that. You know the thick grity kind that is so good dipped in olive oil with some pesto added in. My daughter would chose that over ice cream.


Yes, that's always a good appetizer, sounds though more like you need a baking stone then a stand mixer :P
