What song (trying to limit it to a single song) has meant the most to you over the last year? I'm not talking about music that you necessarily listen to on a regular basis, but more along the lines of music that you've heard over the past year (a new song or a song that you have heard for years, but you have found deeper meaning in it) that touches an emotion/spiritual chord in you.

For me the song that I've identified with the most has been Alter Bridge's song "Fallout". It's about a man who's searching for meaning in his life after finding that all the values he once had no longer mean anything to him. Over the past few years I've found myself slipping from the morals that I had held throughout my life. I've been looking at these and finding that they don't really mean anything to me now and they haven't for quite some time. I've just been going through the motions because it's what is expected of me.

That's why this song is the one that means the most to me. What's yours?
