The answer as to where his cerebellum went is pretty straightforward. It was sacrificed in his development and cannibalized by his body as the rest of the brain grew. As far as crawling and sitting and so on, things usually requiring a cerebellum, his brain created new neural pathways to compensate for the loss of the (probably defective to begin with) cerebellum.
Still a nice story though. ;)
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
