Clearly someone was shooting. And what I read about the army was a couple of days ago (hmm. possibly yesterday). It may just have been someone in the army taking a stand. Who knows. I haven't really had the time or inclination to sit down and read through the reports.

I will not pretend to be an expert on Libya, but I think they have a quite strong clan system. I am not convinced that is a good thing if it comes to trying to organise a democracy.

Me too.

I know that the people were being dive-bombed or shot at from planes - by the Libyan Air force. Maybe that is all.

My mum is watching CNN, which is focused on Bahrain right now. Apparently some big sports event is being cancelled.

Oh No! It is affecting the sports? This is really quite shocking.
