Also the specs say 24 kg empty and make me wonder how much that central column 'lung' weighs, and the price seems parallel to a tumbling composter, which I would still assume composted faster. My dilemma is always leaves though, even a normal old black plastic bin handles my food and garden waste sufficiently.
The central lung weighs very little. It works quicker than a tumbler, and you have no tumbling to do. Leaves, even dry old eucalyptus leaves compost down very fast. Well, that is what satisfied users have told me and one of my daughters who has a professional interest in such things.
