My view on politics has changed quite a bit in the past few years Larry Send a noteboard - 18/03/2011 09:40:31 PM
I see about four people posting the same things ad nauseam. Occasionally I'll read a post if it's written by someone on something they're very knowledgeable about (Legolas on Arabic affairs, Isaac on physics, &c.), but most of the time I know what people are going to say.

If they're getting something out of it, that's fine, but I'm really not any more.

More than anything I think it's the fact that there are so few people who are discussing these political matters. Back then there'd be Nekro, dart_board, LaSombra, you, Chorabliss, LitDog, and damookster frequently participating in these things--that's just off the top of my head; I'm sure there are more.

Meh. We'll see. I'm going to try to start reading some more and posting some more reviews, since I'm not in school right now. And I'm going to try to post some amusing community stuff that decidedly isn't politics.


I hope you're continuing to get better. I did see your post about why you were gone for a while. We may get cranky with each other in a while, but I still respect your desire to prove me more wrong than the frequent screwups I do everyday :P
