There used to be a constant stream of silly surveys and random subjects. Looking at the board it looks like there is too much politics but the reality is there is just to little other stuff. I know you and some others have tried on occasion to bring that back but I fear the community has shrunk to the point where it will be very hard to sustain it.

That is why I was happy to see chat being considered again. I never really spent anytime there which is part of the reason I don't know most people's real names but I think it did help to build a stronger community. There was some squabbling but it did let people get to know each more than they can get from little post about a limited number of subjects.


By the way, even though we might get testy at times whenever I do mention politics, I do like those times when I see your humor on display in other posts. I'm no stuffy person in real life, just when talking about books that I liked personally :P
