Kinda fits the current formula. Sorta cute girl talks into an autotune, overproduced video, rinse, repeat. Every era has formula pop. It's just that now we have the internet, so that those who love it and those who hate it can have flame wars.

Just imagine if there had been messageboards to discuss the Beatles, how the face of music might be different today.
